Happy 2013!

January 12, 2013

Happy 2013! I hope everyone has enjoyed the holidays… life has seemed to taken over for the last few weeks so I have been pretty vacant on the blogging front! But I’m back and ready to go! We had an amazing first Christmas here at number 4. There was totally no need to be worried about cooking christmas lunch and surprisingly wasn’t very stressful at all, I think that comes with having ‘Mummy’ here to help!

Now I love Christmas and it was lovely having everyone here to celebrate and not having to travel anyway was quite a novelty. However by the 28th I was ready to get the house back to a normal state, I even wanted the decorations down! (M wouldn’t let me, not until after the new year!) Anyone else feel like this or am I the only humbug?!

The house has now obviously been restored and we have done a new year spring clean! And we are currently planning what we want to do to the house in the next two months. (I love planning!) We set ourselves what we thought were realistic goals for the next two months… (We have booked to go to New Zealand in March so we don’t want any massive projects.) however the list keeps growing and growing! Watch this space for the progress…
